The Scottish Government’s One Scotland anti-racism campaign joined forces with stv’s North Tonight and Scotland Today news programmes in October 2006 to launch One Scotland in the Picture – a photography exhibition aimed at finding images that best represent Scotland’s many cultures.
People across the country were invited to capture an image which illustrates a modern, diverse Scotland and submit their image to one of three categories: under 18, over 18 and mobile phone camera.
The images you see here are the short listed and winning entries, selected by a panel of judges and a public vote through North Tonight and Scotland Today.
The winner in each category will receive a digital camera and a one day skill session with Scottish photographer Andy Hall, who was part of the judging panel.
