Panorama (ICM): Terrorist Poll (Sept 2001)
A telephone poll conducted two weeks after September 11th.
Main relevant findings:
- 32% of people now felt they were at greater risk of being caught in a terrorist attack.
- 29% believed that the people they knew were now more hostile towards Muslims in Britain.
- 60% thought that if the situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan deteriorated, we should not accept more refugees from these countries.
